Abby Shaffer is founding editor and editor in chief for Petrichor. She’s the author of the lit fic novel Children of the Country and the forthcoming MGFF novel, The Pod of Nerds and the Theory of Everything (August 2027). Her poetry has been published in a variety of literary journals and she has an MFA in Fiction from Queens University of Charlotte. Abby has a background in visual arts, particularly graphic design, cover art, and print and editorial design. Abby has taught and edited creative writing and rhetoric for over a decade at universities and colleges throughout the US. During the day, you’ll find her cycling, dreaming of her next travel destination, and creating visual art — both traditional and digital.
